Are you 'suspicious?'
"WASHINGTON - An American Airlines flight traveling from Los Angeles to London was diverted to New York's JFK airport early on Thursday after the flight crew reported a suspicious passenger..." (AP Story here).
While the man may have been suspicious - as in he was suspicious of the customer service of the airline, or suspicious of the competence of the flight crew, or suspicious of a variety of other things that may have been on his mind - it is unlikely that the flight was diverted based on this man's concerns.
More likely, the man's "suspicious activities" in boarding the flight caused the concern of the flight crew.
True, issues in commercial flight are nothing to joke about these days - but certainly we can have a little fun with the media's awkward, ambiguous attempt at covering them!
Don't be suspicious - and don't act suspiciously!!
